These meteorites are found in Morocco and are known as NWA869 (North West Africa). They may have originated on Mars when an asteroid hit the planet or blown apart as the result of war. The Martian meteorites contain high concentrations of water. They are usually at least 2 billion years old.
A meteorite suggested that a gift was given by heaven. It often represented a mystery coming from some incredible force larger than ourselves, the cosmos. A meteor represented awareness of recognition of something beyond our present experience. Some see it as a soul or spirit.
